How did you meet? 5 years ago, Zack and I met while working at a Tex-mex restaurant. I was a hostess, and he was a server. He graduated with my older sister and I graduated with his younger brother so we already had something in common. We became friends and we’re both seeing other people, but once we both became single, we just clicked.
What did you first think of your partner?I thought he was hilarious and kind of cute
How did you start dating? Our first time hanging out together was on the night of my high school homecoming, and my friends had left me so I was pretty upset. I texted Zack telling him, and he met up with me in the parking lot at wal-mart and we hung out just talking in the car for hours. He eventually asked me to a movie not too long after, and that was our first official date.
How did you know that your partner was the right one for you?He liked my crazy family and no matter what we were going through, he was always there for me. He was always by my side cheering me on, making me feel loved, and doing whatever to make me smile. After we started dating, I couldn't picture my life, my future, without him.
How would you describe the dynamic of your relationship? How would others describe it?
Tell me three things you love about your partner. His sense of humor, his hair, and his drive for success.

How did the proposal happen? It was my 21st birthday, and Zack surprised me by telling me to pack a bag, without telling me our destination. After work, he picked me up and we left. He took me to Hot Springs, Arkansas and we got to stay in this really neat historical hotel. The next day, we left and he drove up to Wilhelmina Mountain. We were staying at this beautiful lodge on the mountain and the scenery was breathtaking. It was a little too early for check-in so we decided to go walking on one of the many trails there. We went to Lover's Leap and in the middle of our journey, it began to pour. I had never been so soaked from the rain, but Zack insisted we keep going to reach the look-out point. Once we made it, we took a second to look out, and just as I turned around, Zack was on one knee and pulled out the ring. He shouted "I don't care if I have to scream it on top of every mountain! I love you Delilah Marie Martinez. Will you marry me?" How could I say no? It was a better proposal than I could've ever imagined.
Where do you see yourselves in five years? What are you most looking forward to in your future as a couple? In our own house, maybe with a child and two dogs, somewhat established careers, and still just as in love as now.
